Absinthe is a French word that means ”Wormwood”, which is the key ingredient in absinthe. This Wormwood Spoon grill design features the wormwood plant, and is probably the most sought after absinthe spoon by collectors.

A traditional absinthe is prepared by pouring an ounce of absinthe into an absinthe glass, and then placing a perforated absinthe spoon (such as this one) on the rim of the glass with a cube of sugar set on top.
